The Port of Newhaven is a small port located at the mouth of the River Ouse in East Sussex near the historic towns of Seaford, Peacehaven and Lewes.
Getting There
By Car
Newhaven is located between Brighton & Eastbourne on the A259 Coast Road, or by following the main A27 & heading South at Beddingham along the A26. Once in Newhaven follow the signs to the Ferry Port.
From London take the M25, M23, A23, then A26 into Newhaven and follow the signs to the Ferry Port.
By Coach/Rail
Regular buses (operated by South Coast Buses / Brighton & Hove) arrive and depart daily from Brighton, Peacehaven, Seaford, Bexhill, Folkestone, Dover, Rye and Hastings. National Express coaches operate services to and from Newhaven.
You can travel by rail to and from Newhaven Harbour Train station which offers a regular train service. Connex South Central operate services from Seaford, Lewes/Brighton. National services run frequently between London and Newhaven mostly with at least one change.
